DMLT stands for Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology. It is a three year Diploma course recognised by AICTE , All India Council For Technical Education,( www.aicteindia.org) and conducted by Board of Technical Education, Delhi. Private jobs with leading hospitals and diagnostic labs are also rewading and with increasing experience one increases in his knowledge and worth. One can start one' own diagnostic lab/ collection centre or can engage in allied activity leading to self employment.
Further studies can be pursued in the field of medical laboratory technology. After DMLT one can opt for BMLT which is a degree course and one year exemption is given to diploma students.
